New or enhanced featureZoom Phone Local Survivability with high availability and node groupingAccount owners and admins can create groups of Zoom Phone Local Survivability (ZPLS) nodes with options for redundancy through active/backup server pairs. The system supports up to 20 nodes per group, with a maximum capacity of 50,000 users, and up to 100 nodes per account. When configuring groups, admins can select hardware capacity options of either 2,000 or 5,000 extensions per node. The interface provides improved visibility into server assignments, usage statistics, and configuration status. Server updates are automatically staggered within node groups to maintain service availability. When redundancy is enabled, the system notifies admins that the total number of supported extensions will be reduced by 50%.Web portal
