Using Zoom Sheets content generation and revision

Zoom Sheets enable users to create and analyze spreadsheets through natural language prompts. These tools can generate data tables, perform data analysis, and even create complex spreadsheet structures, streamlining the content creation and data management process.

How to generate spreadsheets with AI 

  1. Create a new spreadsheet.
  2. (Optional) In the AI chat side panel, click the plus icon to manually upload or select one or more items from Meetings, Zoom Hub, Google Drive, or OneDrive to include as reference material for your prompt.
  3. In the AI chat side panel, enter keywords, phrases, or sentences to describe the spreadsheet you are building, then click the Send icon.

AI will begin generating the spreadsheet, displaying the logic used to generate it. In addition, AI will ask any clarification questions necessary to create the spreadsheet.

Once the spreadsheet has been generated, it can be refined using natural language prompts in the AI chat side panel.

How to analyze data in spreadsheets with AI 

  1. Open a spreadsheet.
  2. In the Zoom Sheets toolbar, click the AI icon .
  3. Click Analyze Data.
    The AI chat side panel will open with the prompt in the text box.
  4. (Optional) In the AI chat side panel, click the plus icon to manually upload or select one or more items from Meetings, Zoom Hub, Google Drive, or OneDrive to include as reference material for your prompt.
  5. (Optional) Modify the prompt to add any specific actions or information you would like to see.

  6. Click the Send icon .
    AI will analyze the data and generate an analysis.

Analyze specific data within a spreadsheet

  1. Open a spreadsheet.
  2. Select the desired cells, column, or rows.
  3. Right-click and click Analyze for insights.
    AI will analyze the data and generate an analysis.

How to edit spreadsheet content with AI editing

  1. Open a spreadsheet.
  2. Select the desired cells, column, or rows.
  3. In the Zoom Sheets toolbar, click the AI icon .
  4. Click AI Editing.
    The AI chat side panel will open.

Using natural language, describe the changes you want to apply to the content, then click the Send icon.
