Allowing or preventing participants from renaming themselves
As an account owner or admin, you can control whether meeting participants and webinar panelists are allowed to change their display names shown during Zoom meetings and webinars. In the Zoom web portal, you can configure this setting at the account, group, or user level depending on who you want it to apply to.
When enabled, meeting and webinar hosts and co-hosts can manage whether meeting participants and webinar panelists are allowed to change their display name during meetings and webinars. When disabled, meeting participants and webinar panelists cannot change their display names during meetings and webinars.
Note: If display names are mapped through SAML and participants are not allowed to rename themselves, they cannot change their display name when joining a meeting.
