Using Zoom Events Email Compose with Zoom AI Companion


Sometimes finding the right words can be challenging. Zoom Events Email Compose with AI Companion leverages AI technology, which may include third-party models, to help you generate an email, subject lines, titles, and calls to action, using context from your Zoom Event description and/or inputting a more specific prompt. AI Companion can assist when drafting a new email in Email Builder.

How to compose an email using Zoom Events Email Compose with Zoom AI Companion

Compose a new email using Zoom Events Email Compose with Zoom AI Companion.

  1. Create a Zoom Event or edit an upcoming event to access the event creation flow.
  2. In the event creation flow navigation menu, click Communication then click Emails.
    The Emails page will appear.
  3. Click the following emails to access the Email Builder:
    • Attendee Private Ticket Invitation
    • Event Survey
    • Event Reminder
    • Recordings are Available
    • Pre-registration Registration Invitation
    • Free Ticket Confirmation
    • Paid Ticket Confirmation
  4. On the email body text, click or hover your mouse over the text components to open the rich text box.
  5. On the rich text box, click the icon.
    A Create with Email Compose window will open to generate a message.
  6. In the window, provide a draft of what you want your email body text to look like, or enter a command in the Ask Email Compose to... box.
    This gives additional context and a sample of your writing style for AI Companion to mimic in its generated reply. This can be up to 1000 characters.
  7. Click Generate.
    Your generated email text will appear.
  8. (Optional) If you do not want the generated text, click the left arrow or right arrow to view other generated responses.
  9. (Optional) Reconfigure the response with the Make Longer, Make Shorter, or Change Tone to... options.
    • Select one of these options, and click Generate for a new response.
    • Add or adjust your drafted response to better guide and influence the rephrased response.
  10. When you are satisfied with the generated response, click Insert.
    The generated response will be copied into the text component box.

How to use generated subject lines

Once the editor has content, subject suggestions are visible in the subject line.

  1. Compose an email using Zoom AI Companion.
  2. In the left panel, click the Email tab to open the Settings panel.
  3. To the right of the Subject line, click the icon.
    A Create with Email Compose window will open to generate a message.
  4. In the window, provide a draft of what you want your email subject line to look like, or enter a command in the Ask Email Compose to... box.
  5. Click Generate.
    Your generated subject line will appear.
  6. (Optional) If you do not want the generated subject line, click the left arrow or right arrow  to view other generated responses.
  7. (Optional) Reconfigure the response with the Make Longer, Make Shorter, or Change Tone to... options.
    • Select one of these options, and click Generate for a new response.
    • Add or adjust your drafted response to better guide and influence the rephrased response.
  8. When you are satisfied with the generated subject line, click Insert.
    Insert will copy the generated subject line into the Subject box.
  9. If you do not want the suggested subject text, click the dismiss icon .
    Your current subject line will remain.

How to exit the Zoom Events Email Compose with Zoom AI window

  1. Compose an email using Zoom AI Companion.
  2. In the top-right corner of the Create with Email Compose window, click the close icon .
    The Create with Email Compose window will close.
