Managing the video channel Content section

This section is a collection of Video On Demand (VOD) content embedded in the Zoom Events hub and third-party platforms. After you create a channel, you can complete the Content section.

Note: The Content section is not available for the Embedded Single video channel type.

Requirements for managing the Content section for Zoom Event Experience channels

Note: For access to the latest Zoom Webinars and Events features, we strongly recommend hosts to update to the latest version of the Zoom desktop client/mobile application.

How to access the Content section

  1. Create a video channel or edit a video channel.
    You will be directed to the video channel setup.
  2. In the channel setup's left navigation menu, click Content.
    The following sub sections will appear:

How to manage Videos in the Content section

Access your videos

  1. Access the Content page.
  2. Find and select the Videos dropdown.
    A list of uploaded recordings will appear.
  3. View the following information on the page:

Manage your videos

  1. Access the Content page Videos section.
  2. Under the Videos section, to the right of the video you want to manage, complete the following actions:

Enable or disable columns

  1. Access the Content page Videos section.
  2. In the top-right corner, click Settings .
    A menu will display the column checkboxes you can manage. 
  3. To the left of the column you want to show, select the checkbox to enable it.
    When enabled, the column and its information will be displayed.
  4. (Optional) To the left of the column you want to hide, deselect the checkbox to disable it.
    When disabled, the column and its information will be hidden.
  5. (Optional) Click Show all to select and enable all columns.
    All columns and their information will be displayed.
  6. Click Confirm.

Search for videos

  1. Access the Content page Videos section.
  2. Use the search bar to find a video.

Sort videos

  1. Access the Content page Videos section.
  2. At the top of the page, click the dropdown menu, then select a filter to sort the videos.

Add videos

Add existing videos from the hub Recordings library to your playlist.

Note: The recommended image dimensions are 1920x1080 pixels. Supported files are MP4, MOV, WMV, H.264, and AVI. The maximum video size is 5GB.

  1. Access the Content page.
  2. In the top-left corner, click Add videos.
    A pop-up window will appear.
    Note: If no videos are added, click + Add videos on the page.
  3. In the window, select a video(s) to upload:
    Note: If a video has already been added to the playlist, the entire row for that individual recording will be disabled.
    1. (Optional) Use the top search bar to find a video.
    2. (Optional) In the top-right corner, click the dropdown menu to sort videos by Recently addedA to Z, or Z to A.
    3. (Optional) To the right of the videos you want to manage, click Preview .
    4. (Optional) Upload a new video by clicking Upload video
    5. Select an existing video from your content library.
      • To bulk-select videos, to the left of the videos you want to add, select the checkboxes.
    6. After selecting the video(s) that you want, click Add
      The videos will be added to the Content page.

Feature videos

Note: The Feature function is only available for the Zoom events experience video channel type.

  1. Access the Content page Videos section.
  2. Under the Featured column of the video you want to manage, click the toggle to enable or disable it.
    Enabling this feature will promote this video at the top of the channel detail page.

Edit recording details

Changes will automatically be saved in the hub's Recordings library and apply to any place where this recording is saved.

  1. Access the Content page Videos section.
  2. To the right of a video you want to edit, click the pencil icon
    A panel will appear.
  3. In the panel, edit the recording details:
  4. Click Save.

Edit recording content on the Zoom web portal

  1. Access the Content page Videos section.
  2. To the right of the recording you want to manage, click the ellipses  then click Edit recording content .
    You will be directed to the Zoom web portal to edit, replace, or delete your recording.

Delete videos from the Content section

  1. Access the Content page Videos section.
  2. To the right of the video you want to delete, click the ellipsis , then select Remove from content.
    A confirmation window will appear.
  3. In the confirmation window, click Remove.
    The recording will be removed from the video channel playlist.
    Note: This does not impact the hub's Recordings library.

Delete multiple videos from the Content section

  1. Access the Content page Videos section.
  2. To the left of the videos you want to delete, select the checkboxes.
  3. At the top of the page, click Remove from content.
    A confirmation window will appear.
  4. In the confirmation window, click Remove.
    The selected recordings will be removed from the video channel playlist.
    Note: This does not impact the hub's Recordings library.

How to manage Playlists in the Content section

Access your playlists

  1. Access the Content page.
  2. Find and select the Playlists dropdown.
    A list of added playlists will appear.

Manage your playlists

  1. Access the Content page Playlists section.
  2. Select the playlist you want to edit.
    You’ll be taken to a page that shows more details about the playlist, including the video list and columns with information for each video.
  3. View the following information on the page:

Search for playlists

  1. Access the Content page Playlists section.
  2. Use the search bar to find a playlist.

Sort your playlists

  1. Access the Content page Playlists section.
  2. At the top of the page, click the dropdown menu, then select a filter to sort playlists.

Add playlists

  1. Access the Content page Playlists section.
  2. In the top-left corner, click Add playlists.
    A pop-up window with a list of existing playlists will appear.
  3. In the window, select a playlist(s) to add:
    Note: If a playlist has already been added to the Content section, the entire row for that individual playlist will be disabled.
    1. (Optional) Use the top search bar to find a playlist.
    2. (Optional) In the top-right corner, click the dropdown menu to sort playlists by Last modifiedA to Z, or Z to A.
    3. (Optional) To bulk-select playlists, to the left of the playlists you want to add, select the checkboxes.
    4. After selecting the playlist(s) that you want, click Add
      The playlists will be added to the Content page.

Featured playlists

  1. Access the Content page Playlists section.
  2. Select the playlist you want to edit.
    You’ll be taken to a page that shows more details about the playlist, including the video list and columns with information for each video.
  3. Under the Featured column, select the toggle to enable or disable it. 
    Enabling this feature will promote this video at the top of the channel detail page.

Delete a playlist from Content section

  1. Access the Content page Playlists section.
  2. On the thumbnail of the playlist you want to delete, click the ellipsis , then select Remove.
    A confirmation window will appear.
  3. In the confirmation window, click Remove.
    The playlist will be removed from the Content section.
