Blocking of unregistered MMS to AT&T and Verizon mobile numbers issue


Zoom Phone US/CA and Zoom Contact Center users who have not registered their phone numbers with an approved 10DLC campaign will encounter MMS blocking when sending messages to AT&T and Verizon numbers. MMS sent to AT&T and Verizon mobile numbers from a non-10DLC registered number will not get delivered.


As of September 21st, 2023, mobile operators AT&T and Verizon have started blocking MMS originating from non-10DLC registered phone numbers.

At this time, SMS from unregistered phone numbers is NOT impacted if you are still awaiting campaign approval. MMS traffic from 10DLC registered numbers is also not impacted.
