Restricting workspace reservation frequency

 

Account owners and admins can set restrictions and limit how often users can book a space, based on frequency or time. This feature prevents workspaces from being occupied by some users for long periods of time. Users will receive a notification about the limitations that the admins set for their workspace reservation.

Account

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Workspaces Management then Workspaces.
  3. Click Account Settings.
  4. Under Basic, locate Workspace Reservation Restrictions
  5. Select the Limit users to a maximum of ___ workspaces reservations per ___ checkbox.
  6. Select the Limit users to a maximum of ___ hours per reservation.
  7. Click Save.
  8. (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Location

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Workspaces Management then Workspaces.
  3. Use location hierarchy to access the hierarchy level where you want to edit a workspace passcode (building, floor, or workspace).
  4. Under Basic, locate Workspace Reservation Restrictions
  5. Select the Limit users to a maximum of ___ hours per reservation.
  6. Click Save.
  7. (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.
