Restricting reservations to be in-person only
Account owners and admins can create desks that can only be booked by scanning a QR code at the workspace in person or on a Workspace Reservation device. Admins and users can only view these in-person desks on the floor map. When the Restrict Reservations to In-Person Only setting is enabled, users can only reserve the workspace in person. Administrators are not restricted by this setting.

How to restrict reservations to be in-person only
Account
To enable or disable Restrict Reservations to In-Person Only for all users in the account:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the navigation menu, click Workspaces Management then Workspaces.
- Click Account Settings.
- Under Basic, click the Restrict Reservations to In-Person Only toggle to enable or disable it.
- If a verification dialog displays, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
- (Optional) To prevent all users in your account from changing this setting, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.
Location hierarchy
To enable or disable Restrict Reservations to In-Person Only at the floor or workspace level:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
- In the navigation menu, click Workspaces Management then Workspaces.
- Use location hierarchy to access the hierarchy level you want to enable this setting for.
- Under Basic, click the Restrict Reservations to In-Person Only toggle to enable or disable it.
- If a verification dialog displays, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
- (Optional) To prevent all users in the location level from changing this setting, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.
