Admin guide for Turret integration


The Zoom Phone integration with Turret allows Turret endpoints to access PSTN services. This enables any endpoint registered with Turret to make calls to Zoom endpoints or the PSTN by utilizing Zoom's calling plans.

Note: To provision the Turret system, it is necessary for you to provide the Turret provider with both user and phone number information. Also, note that the user information on the Zoom end does not need to be an exact match.

How to enable or disable the Turret integration for an entire account

Once the Turret integration is enabled by Zoom, the feature must be enabled at the account level to be accessible at the user level. You can follow the steps below to do so:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with privileges.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management, then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Zoom Phone tab.
  4. Click the Turret Integration toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. In the Synced users will make and receive calls through drop-down, select Turret.
  6. Select the Turret vendor that you are looking to integrate with.

How to enable or disable the Turret integration for a specific user

When Turret is integrated with a user, any calls to the phone number assigned to the user will be routed to the Turret provider endpoint.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with privileges.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Phone System Management, then Users & Rooms.
  3. Identify the user, then on the far right, click the more icon .
    Note: Make sure the user has a calling plan and Zoom Phone number assigned.
  4. Click Sync with Turret.
  5. In the drop-down menu, select Integration, then select the appropriate Region.
    Note: The region is typically tied to the phone and the user's physical location. For example, If the user is in the United States and has a US phone number, select Americas. Similarly, if the user is located in the United Kingdom and has a UK phone number, select EMEA.
  6. Click Save.
