Attendees can join hybrid events using the Zoom companion app. This app allows them to attend an event in person or virtually without leaving Zoom Events. They can find, bookmark, and attend sessions in hybrid and virtual events. Attendees can navigate the physical space using maps and switch between in-person and virtual webinar/meeting sessions. During hybrid events, attendees can connect with in-person and virtual attendees.

Note: For attendee access to the latest Zoom Events and Webinar features, we highly encourage attendees to update to the latest version of the Zoom desktop client/mobile application.

The mobile app will search and join the event lobby/event session, then automatically check-in in this process.
You can use your mobile device to join the event in the following ways:
When in-person attendees use their laptops to participate in sessions at hybrid events, they will be in Zoom Events Companion mode on the desktop web client by default. While they're in Companion mode, they can participate in chat, Q&A, and more without video or audio streaming. Attendees can enable or disable streaming for audio and video.

For in-person ticket holders, video and audio streaming is disabled in the lobby. To view livestreaming, you must switch to virtual mode.

In webinar and meeting sessions, you can use the meeting controls to view the participants list, chat, share your screen, participate in Q&A, and record the session. In the participants list, you can view other participants who have enabled or disabled audio/video streaming .
The host will receive a notification of your response.
The event lobby is the starting point of multiple sessions events and Zoom Sessions events. Attendees can use the companion app to view sessions, chat with other attendees, watch recordings, display your event badge (eBadge), and view the event map.
The People tab is where you go to see the profile cards of everyone in the event. It includes all the profile cards of the event directory, and also displays the profile cards of the event's hosts, exhibitors, speakers, and attendees. You can tap the Speakers, Exhibitors, or Attendees tabs to narrow the results and display only the categorized Zoom Events users.

When a session is finished and its recording has been published, the session tile in the event details page will be clickable to watch the recording with a deeplink. When clicked, users will be directed to the lobby to watch the recording.
Attendees can also use multiple language voice translation from interpreters and can use recording transcript translation.
Note: The recordings will remain in the lobby until the lobby is closed.

When a host has set up a post-event survey for their event, you will receive an in-app notification for the post-event survey. You can complete the survey on the Zoom Events Companion mobile app.
