Reporting fraud, abuse, or spam of an app to Zoom
On the Zoom App Marketplace, users can report apps to Zoom for fraud, abuse, or spam. When submitting a report to Zoom, it is helpful to include as many details as possible about the abuse, including screenshots if applicable.
How to report an app on the App Marketplace
From the app’s page
- Sign in to the App Marketplace.
- In the search bar, search for and select the app you want to report.
- Scroll to the bottom of the app’s page.
- Next to Report App to Zoom, click Report.
- In the issue type drop-down, select Abuse, fraud, or spam.
- Click Report.
You will receive an email to confirm your report details. You must confirm the details of the report within 7 days. - In the email, click to confirm the report.
A form will open in a web browser for you to complete the report. - Finalize the report by including as many details as possible about the abuse, fraud, or spam, including screenshots if applicable.
- Click Confirm to send the report to Zoom's Trust and Safety team.
From your added apps
- Sign in to the App Marketplace.
- In the top-right corner, next to your profile picture, click Manage.
- In the left navigation menu, click the Added Apps tab.
- To the right of the app you want to report, click Remove.
- In the Select the reason for removing drop-down, select Abuse, fraud, or spam.
- Click Remove.
You will receive an email to confirm your report details. You must confirm the details of the report within 7 days. - In the email, click to confirm the report.
A form will open in a web browser for you to complete the report. - Finalize the report by including as many details as possible about the abuse, fraud, or spam, including screenshots if applicable.
- Click Confirm to send the report to Zoom's Trust and Safety team.
