Managing Zoom Rooms devices from device management


Zoom Device Management (ZDM) allows account owners and admins to manage their Zoom Rooms devices in a centralized location. You can enroll your devices in ZDM for management, or not enroll but still be able to upgrade or downgrade the app of those devices, amongst other actions.

You can follow these instructions to upgrade or downgrade the Zoom Rooms App.

How to launch the Zoom Rooms Controller from device management

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Device Management then Device list.
  3. Click the Devices tab.
  4. Identify the Zoom Rooms computer you want to launch the controller from.
  5. On the far right of that device, click the more options icon , then select Launch Controller.
    Your web-based Zoom Rooms Controller will automatically start but may not have all the options available on the actual controller.
    Note: You can launch the controller straight from Zoom Rooms Management as well.

How to remove a Zoom Rooms device from device management

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Device Management then Device list.
  3. Click the Devices tab.
  4. Identify the Zoom Rooms device you want to remove from Zoom.
  5. On the far right of that device, click the more options icon , then select Remove from Zoom.
  6. In the dialog box, click Remove.
    The Zoom Rooms device will be removed.
