Managing the Lobby Configuration tab
The Lobby configuration tab helps hosts customize their content. They can manage a centralized control panel for their lobby livestreaming and event visibility settings.

How to access the Lobby configuration tab in Zoom Events
The lobby is divided into distinct sections, each offering you the ability to customize your content. Explore the sections below.
- Access the Lobby tab in the event creation flow.
- In the top-left corner, click the Lobby configuration tab.
- Customize and manage the Lobby configuration tab sections.
How to manage the Lobby Configuration tab
Manage the Lobby livestreaming section
Livestreaming
Select sessions that will be livestreamed in the event lobby.
- Access the Lobby configuration tab.
- In the Livestreaming card, click Edit livestreaming.
The Edit livestreaming panel will appear. - In the Edit livestreaming panel, choose from the following options to select sessions that will be livestreamed in the event lobby:
- All sessions: Livestream all sessions in the event lobby.
- Specific sessions: Livestream specific sessions in the event lobby. When enabled, a set of options will appear below that allows you to:
- Sort your sessions: Under Sessions, click the the dropdown to sort your sessions by alphabetical or recently created order.
- Search for specific sessions: In the Search sessions by keyword field, enter the name of the session you want to add to generate a list of matching sessions below.
Note: Click Select all [number] sessions to select all sessions in the list. - None: No sessions will be livestreamed in the event lobby.
- Click Save.
Livestreaming closed captioning
Select sessions that will provide closed captioning for participants viewing livestreams.
- Access the Lobby configuration tab.
- In the Livestreaming closed captioning card, click Edit livestreaming closed captioning.
The Edit livestreaming closed captioning panel will appear. - Choose from the following options to select sessions that will provide closed captioning for participants viewing livestreams:
- All sessions: All sessions will have closed captioning.
- Specific sessions: Specific sessions will have closed captioning. When enabled, a set of options will appear below that allows you to:
- Sort your sessions: Under Sessions, click the the dropdown to sort your sessions by alphabetical or recently created order.
- Search for specific sessions: In the Search sessions by keyword field, enter the name of the session you want to add to generate a list of matching sessions below.
Note: Click Select all [number] sessions to select all sessions in the list.
- None: No sessions will have closed captioning.
- Click Save.
Manage the Agenda section
Agenda
Control which sessions will be visible in your event lobby (lobby home, session list, itinerary, and session details). These sessions will be located under the Sessions tab.
- Access the Lobby configuration tab.
- In the Lobby agenda card, click Edit sessions visibility.
The Edit sessions visibility panel will appear. - Choose from the following options to show specific sessions in the event lobby:
- All sessions: All sessions will be visible in the lobby.
- Specific sessions: Specific sessions will be visible in the lobby. When enabled, a set of options will appear below that allows you to:
- Sort your sessions: Under Sessions, click the the dropdown to sort your sessions by alphabetical or recently created order.
- Search for specific sessions: In the Search sessions by keyword field, enter the name of the session you want to add to generate a list of matching sessions below.
Note: Click Select all [number] sessions to select all sessions in the list.
- None: No sessions will be visible in the lobby.
- Click Save.
Featured Sessions
Feature specific sessions in the event lobby. These sessions will be placed under the Lobby tab.
- Access the Lobby configuration tab.
- In the Featured sessions card, click Edit featured sessions.
- Choose from the following options to feature specific sessions in the event lobby:
- All sessions: All sessions will be featured.
- Specific sessions: Specific sessions will be featured. When enabled, a set of options will appear below that allows you to:
- None: No sessions will be featured.
- Click Save.
Manage the Speakers section
Speaker visibility
Show all speakers, no speakers, or specific speakers. These speakers will be shown under the Speakers tab.
- Access the Lobby configuration tab.
- In the Speaker visibility card, click Edit speaker visibility.
The Edit speakers visibility panel will appear. - Choose from the following options to show specific speakers in the event lobby:
- All speakers: All speakers will be visible in the lobby.
- Specific speakers: Specific speakers will be visible in the lobby. When enabled, a search field will appear below that allows you to search speakers by keyword.
Note: Click Select all [number] speakers to select all speakers in the list. - None: No speakers will be visible in the lobby.
- Click Save.
Featured speakers
Feature specific speakers on the event detail page. These speakers will be placed under the Speakers tab.
- Access the Lobby configuration tab.
- In the Featured speaker card, click Edit feature speakers.
The Edit featured speakers panel will appear. - Choose from the following options to feature specific speakers on the event detail page:
- All speakers: All speakers will be featured.
- Specific speakers: Specific speakers will be featured. When enabled, a search field will appear below that allows you to search speakers by keyword.
Note: Click Select all [number] speakers to select all speakers in the list. - None: No speakers will be featured.
- Click Save.
Manage the Exhibitors section
Exhibitor visibility
Show all exhibitors, specific ones, or none in the event lobby. Exhibitors will be shown under the Exhibitors tab.
- Access the Lobby configuration tab.
- In the Exhibitor Visibility card, click Edit Exhibitor Visibility.
- Choose from the following options to show specific exhibitors in the event lobby:
- All Speakers: All exhibitors will be visible in the lobby.
- Specific Speakers: Specific exhibitors will be visible in the lobby.
- Sort your exhibitors by alphabetical order, recently created, or a search.
- None: No exhibitors will be visible in the lobby.
- Click Save.
Specific featured sponsors will be displayed on the lobby homepage. Redirect attendees to a sponsor's detail page except exhibitors set as invisible.
- Access the Lobby configuration tab.
- In the Featured sponsors card, click Edit featured sponsors.
The Edit featured sponsors panel will appear containing a list of your sponsors categorized by tier. - (Optional) In the Search sponsors by keyword field, enter the name of a sponsor to generate a list of matching results below.
- To the left of each sponsor, select the checkbox to make them a featured sponsor.
Note: Click Select all sponsors to include all sponsors in the list. - Click Save.
Note: You can only feature up to 20 sponsors.
