Deleting a whiteboard


Account owners and co-owners can delete whiteboards from the Zoom desktop, mobile app, Zoom Web App, or from the Zoom web portal. Deleted whiteboards are moved to trash. On the Trash tab, you can recover deleted whiteboards within 30 days, or delete them permanently.

How to delete a whiteboard

  1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
  2. At the top, click the Whiteboards button  .
    Note: If you don’t see the Whiteboards option, click More  and then select Whiteboards from the list.
    The Zoom Whiteboard dashboard will display.
  3. Select a whiteboard you want to delete.
  4. In the lower right corner of the selected whiteboard tile, click the ellipsis icon .
  5. Click Move to Trash
    The deleted whiteboard will be moved to the Trash tab.
    Note: This options is only available for whiteboards you created. You can choose to leave a whiteboard that someone else has shared with you.
  6. (Optional) To delete a whiteboard permanently from the Trash tab, follow the steps below:
    • To delete a single whiteboard, click the ellipsis icon and then click Delete Forever.
    • To delete multiple whiteboards, switch to the list view , click the check boxes beside the whiteboard name and then click the Delete Forever icon .
    • To delete all whiteboards in Trash, click Delete All.
  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. On the left menu, click Whiteboards.
  3. In the Zoom Whiteboard dashboard, search for the whiteboard you want to delete.
  4. To the right of the whiteboard you want to delete, click the ellipses icon .
  5. Click Move to Trash.
    The deleted whiteboard will be moved to the Trash tab.
    Note: This options is only available for whiteboards you created. You can choose to leave a whiteboard that someone else has shared with you.

  2. At the bottom of the screen, tap More.
  3. In the Added Features section, tap Whiteboard
  4. In the Zoom Whiteboard dashboard, search for the whiteboard you want to delete.
  5. Within the selected whiteboard tile, tap the ellipsis icon .
  6. Tap Move to Trash.
    The deleted whiteboard will be moved to the Trash tab.
