Using Zoom Whiteboard templates
Using templates can simplify the creation of whiteboards. The template dashboard allows users to preview and select a template to use for their whiteboard. Users can quickly identify templates based on common categories and search for specific templates. Whiteboard templates can be browsed by title or category, and users can pick a template and then create a new whiteboard from it.

How to access Zoom Whiteboard templates
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- At the top, click the Whiteboards button .
Note: If you don’t see the Whiteboards option, click More and then select Whiteboards from the list.
The Zoom Whiteboard dashboard will display. - Click All templates.
The templates dashboard will display.
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- On the left menu, click Whiteboards.
- Click All templates.
The templates dashboard will display.
- Sign in to the Zoom mobile app.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap More .
- In the Added Features section, tap Whiteboard .
- Click All templates.
The templates dashboard will display.
- Sign in to the Zoom Web App.
- On the left menu, click Whiteboards.
- Click All templates.
The templates dashboard will display.
How to create a new whiteboard from a template
- Open the templates dashboard.
- In the left menu, select a category and search for a specific template you want to use.
- In the lower right corner of the selected template tile, click the ellipsis icon .
- (Optional) Click Preview to preview the template picture with sample data.
- Click Use Template.
The new whiteboard will open with the added template.
How to insert a template from an existing whiteboard
- Open an existing whiteboard.
- In the toolbar on the left side of the screen, click the Templates icon .
The templates dashboard will display. - In the left menu, select a category and search for a specific template you want to use.
- In the lower right corner of the selected template tile, click the ellipsis icon .
- (Optional) Click Preview to preview the template picture with sample data.
- Click Use Template.
The selected template will be inserted onto the opened whiteboard.
