Editing Zoom Sessions event as a co-editor

Zoom Sessions co-editors are invited to add, edit, and save or republish events with the content they add—but only to the specific sections they are given edit access. You might be invited to be a co-editor to check the accuracy of existing content or help build out a single-session event.

Co-editors do not see the Analytics sections and the tabs under it when they access the event to make edits. Co-editors can view and select resources from the hub's Content Library tab (at the hub level) by default; however, co-editors cannot contribute resources to the content library because the content library is at the hub level.

Additionally, co-editors do not need to have a Zoom Sessions license to make edits to an event.

How to edit a Zoom Session event as a co-editor

Edit a Zoom Sessions event from the invitation email

Invitation emails contain a direct link to the event the co-editors can edit, and co-editors are only allowed to edit the sections they have been granted access.

To edit an event from an email invitation:

  1. Open your invitation email, then click Edit Event.
Note: If the host no longer has an active Zoom Sessions license, you will see a message that you won't be able to edit the event until the host is assigned a new license. Contact the host to inform them of their license status.
  2. Sign in to Zoom Events.
You will be directed to the event to which you have been invited to edit.
  3. Click the tabs to navigate to the sections you are allowed to edit.
  4. Make your edits.
  5. Click Save.
