Generating an offsite campaign URL

An offsite URL allows Zoom Contact Center consumers to easily access a chat or video campaign from an a URL embedded in an email, social media post, or other digital medium. For example, you can embed the offsite URL in a marketing email; and when consumers link the URL, they will start the a web chat with a sales associate.

How to generate an offsite campaign URL

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Contact Center Management then Campaign Management.
  3. Click the display name of the campaign you want to edit.
  4. Next to Offsite URL, click Customize to generate an offsite URL.
  5. Select the channel:
    • Web Chat: The generated URL will start a web chat engagement.
      • Welcome Screen: Display the welcome screen when a chat chat engagement is started using the generated URL.
    • Video: The generated URL will start a video engagement.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click the URL field then select an associated sub-domain that the consumer will be re-directed to when they click the offsite URL.
  8. Click Generate Offsite URL.
    The generated URL will appear below the Generate Offsite URL option.
  9. Click Copy to copy the generated URL to your clipboard.
  10. Click Done.
  11. Embed the URL in an email, social media post, or other location that's external from your website.
