Managing Zoom Sessions Event Branding
The Event Branding tab lets you apply color to certain visual elements of the event so that your event visually matches your company's branding. As you customize and apply color to elements, a preview of the colors is updated and displayed—in real-time—in the preview panel, giving you a preview of the following areas of the event:
- Registration page
- Lobby page
The colors selected for event branding are automatically applied to their respective elements on all attendee-facing pages.
Hosts can also customize e-badges by matching e-badge color and font to their overall event branding. Additionally, when hosts use the Event Branding tab in the event creation setup, their desktop branding choices will apply and map to the Zoom Events Companion app’s lobby on mobile devices.
Note: All settings configured in the Event Branding tab—including the color palette color settings and the colors set at each of the elements—are carried over to a duplicated event.

Add image or video to background
You can upload an image or video to use as a background throughout the event.
Add background image
- Under the Page section and to the right of Background, click Image/Video.
A window will open. - Find the image you want to use, then click Open.
- (Optional) Crop the dimensions of the image.
- Click Save.
- Select the Size of the image and the Position of where the image will appear in the background.
- (Optional) Click the Overlay toggle to enable it.
- (Optional) Adjust the Color & Opacity of the overlay.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- We recommend using Fill, which will make the image resize and fill the page as it scales. An aspect ratio of 16:9 is best practice with a minimum width of 1600 px for the background to look clear on most screen sizes. Ideal image dimensions are 1920 px wide and 1080 px high.
- The image background is shown across the event; so, we recommend a simpler background with proper opacity to optimize visual accessibility and readability across the event.
Add background video
- Under the Page section and to the right of Background, click Image/Video.
A window will open. - Find the video you want to use, then click Upload.
- (Optional) Click the Overlay toggle to enable it.
- (Optional) Adjust the Color & Opacity of the overlay.
- Click Save.
