Using the Select tool
Using the Select tool places the cursor in Select mode so you can click objects and change their properties. You can also switch to Grab mode to move the canvas freely without unintentionally selecting and moving objects. Clicking an object will bring up more menu and editing options.

Select mode
In the toolbar on the left side of the screen, click the Select tool icon or press V on your keyboard to activate it. When Select mode is selected, you can click on objects to move and edit them. Clicking an object and opening its context menu gives you More options by clicking the ellipses icon .

Copy: Copies the selected object.

Paste: Place the copied object somewhere else on the whiteboard.

Duplicate: Makes an exact copy of the selected object.

Copy Link to Object: Copies the hyperlink or URL of a selected object which can then be shared or pasted elsewhere.

Bring Forward: Moves the selected object up one layer.

Bring to Front: Put the selected object on the top layer.

Send Backward: Moves the selected object back one layer.

Send to back: Put the selected object on the bottom layer.

Export as Data: Export data from selected object as a CSV file.

Save as Template: Saves the selected object as a template. Users can use the saved template to create a new whiteboard.

Info: Shows the creator and last editor of the selected object.

Lock: Locks objects and groups of objects to prevent other users with edit access from accidentally modifying the whiteboard content.

Delete: Deletes the selected object.
Move objects
- To move a single object, click an object and drag it anywhere on canvas.
- To move multiple objects, press Shift and then click on objects you want to move. This will put every selected object in a single selection box. Drag the selection box to move multiple objects at once.
Rotate objects
- To rotate a single object, click on an object and then hover your cursor over the double arrow icon in the lower left corner of the object. Click and drag the icon to rotate it.
- To rotate multiple objects, press Shift and then click on objects you want to move. This will put every selected object in a single selection box. Click and drag the double-arrow icon in the lower left corner of the selection box to rotate it.
Resize objects
- To resize a single object, then hover your cursor over one of the small squares that form right angles around the object. Click and drag the corner of the object to resize it.
- To resize multiple objects, press Shift and then click on objects you want to resize. This will put every selected object in a single selection box. Click and drag the small squares that form right angles around the selection box to resize it.
Grab mode
In the toolbar on the left side of the screen, click the Select tool icon or press V on your keyboard to activate it. Click the hand icon to activate the Grab mode. When Grab mode is selected, you cannot select or move objects but you can pan around to navigate within the canvas.
