You can choose to embed your cloud recording passcode into the shareable link. The passcode will be encrypted and included in your shareable link for one-click access to the cloud recording. The Embed passcode in the shareable link for one-click access setting is available at the account, group, and user level and is disabled by default for existing users.

Prerequisites for embedding cloud recording passcode in shareable link

• Account owner or admin privileges (required for managing account and group level settings)
• Cloud recording enabled
• Cloud recording sharing enabled

How to enable embed cloud recording passcode in shareable link

Note: If enabled, Passcode will no longer appear under the shareable link section.

Account

To enable Embed passcode in the shareable link for one-click access for all users in the account:

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
2. In the navigation panel, click Account Management then Account Settings.
3. Click the Recording tab.
4. Under Require passcode to access shared cloud recordings, select the check box to enable Embed passcode in the shareable link for one-click access.
5. Click Save.
6. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon  for Require passcode to access shared cloud recordings, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Group

To enable Embed passcode in the shareable link for one-click access for a group of users:

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit groups.
2. In the navigation panel, click User Management then Groups.
3. Click the applicable group name from the list, then click the Recording tab.
4. Under Require passcode to access shared cloud recordings, select the check box to enable Embed passcode in the shareable link for one-click access.
5. Click Save.
6. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in the group, click the lock icon  for Require passcode to access shared cloud recordings, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

User

To enable Embed passcode in the shareable link for one-click access for your own use:

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. In the navigation panel, click Settings.
3. Click the Recording tab.
4. Under Require passcode to access shared cloud recordings, select the check box to enable Embed passcode in the shareable link for one-click access.
   Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You need to contact your Zoom admin.
5. Click Save.
