As admins allow more Team Chat features and Marketplace Apps for Team Chat, end-users can customize the options available to them in the chat compose toolbar. Users can reorganize the options and adjust visibility of items based on their needs.

Prerequisites for customizing the chat compose toolbar
- Zoom desktop client
- Windows: 5.13.0 or higher
- macOS: 5.13.0 or higher
- Zoom mobile app
- Android: 5.13.0 or higher
- iOS: 5.13.0 or higher
How to customize your chat compose toolbar
Windows | 
macOS- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Click the Team Chat tab
. - Select any chat or channel.
- Below the text compose box, at the end of the row of options, click the ellipsis icon
. - Click
Customize compose shortcuts.
A customization window will appear. The Format, Emoji, Giphy, File, and Screenshot options cannot be rearranged or customized. - Click and drag any other available options into the order that suits you.
- To the right of each option, click the visibility icon
to toggle the visibility of this option. - (Optional) Click Reset to default to revert to the default organization and visibility of all options.
- Click Update to save the changes.
Android | - Sign in to the Zoom mobile app.
- Tap the Team Chat tab .
- Select any chat or channel.
- Next to the text compose box, tap the plus icon
. - Tap the Customize option .
A customization window will appear. The Photo, File, and Giphy options cannot be rearranged or customized. - Tap and drag any other available options into the order that suits you.
- To the right of each option, tap the visibility icon to toggle the visibility of this option.
- (Optional) In the top-right corner, tap the ellipses icon and then Reset to default to revert to the default organization and visibility of all options.
