Changing Workspace Reservation user settings

Your workspace settings allow you to enable or disable features for your workspace reservations. These settings control the availability of several features, such as creating calendar events for reservations and email notifications. 

Note: This article is about settings at the user level. If you have account owner or admin privileges, you have access to user-level settings, in addition to settings at the account and workspace management level.

Prerequisites for changing Workspace Reservation user settings

• Basic, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education account
• Either a Zoom Workspace Reservation subscription, Zoom Rooms subscription, or Zoom Common Area Phone subscription
• Workspace Reservation setting Allow users to reserve workspaces through their Zoom account enabled for the account

How to access Workspaces user settings

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. In the navigation menu, click Settings.
3. Click the Workspaces tab.
   Your Workspaces settings will be displayed.

How to customize Workspaces user settings

Under Workspaces, you can customize the following settings:

• Create Calendar events for room reservations: After making a room reservation, the reservation will automatically be added to the calendar attached to your account.
• Create Calendar events for desk reservations: After making a desk reservation, the reservation will automatically be added to the calendar attached to your account.
• Workspaces Reservation Email Notifications: After enabling this option, you can select the email notifications you want to receive.
• Workspace Reservation Schedule Privilege: You can assign users in your account to reserve workspaces on your behalf. You can also reserve workspaces on behalf of the person assigned to you for scheduling privileges.
