To enhance the whiteboard experience, users have the option to upload documents and images to the whiteboard. This feature can be useful for sharing diagrams, charts, or other visual aids.
Notes:
- The currently supported formats include CSV, GIF, JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT or PPTX.
- The maximum file size for a single PDF upload is 35MB, while images are limited to 25MB.
- If you do not see the Upload PDFs and Images icon in the editing tools, please contact an account admin to have this feature enabled.

How to upload documents and images to the whiteboard
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Create or open a whiteboard.
- In the toolbar on the left side of the screen, click the Upload PDFs and Images icon .
The file dialog will appear. - Select a file or image from your computer.
Learn how to upload files from your Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. - Click Open.
The file or image will appear on the canvas.
Controls when you click on a file
- Download File icon : Save the file to your device.
- Extract Pages icon : Select specific pages from the file and extract them as a separate document.
- Previous icon and Next icon : Navigate through the pages of the file.
- Lock icon : Lock files to prevent other users with edit access from accidentally modifying the whiteboard content.
- More icon : Represents additional options.
- Copy: Copy the selected file.
- Copy as image: Copy the selected file as image which can then be shared or pasted into applications that support images.
- Paste: Place the copied file somewhere else on the whiteboard.
- Duplicate: Make an exact copy of the selected file.
- Copy Link to Object: Copy the hyperlink or URL of a selected file which can then be shared or pasted elsewhere.
- Bring Forward: Move the selected file up one layer.
- Bring to Front: Put the selected file on the top layer.
- Send Backward: Move the selected file back one layer.
- Send to back: Put the selected file on the bottom layer.
- Save as Template: Save the selected file as a template.
- Info: Show the creator and last editor of the selected file.
- Lock: Lock file to prevent other users with edit access from accidentally modifying the content.
- Delete: Delete the selected file.
Controls when you click on an image
- Download Image icon : Save image to your device.
- Crop icon : Select a portion of the image and remove the rest.
- Lock icon : Lock an image to prevent other users with edit access from accidentally modifying the whiteboard content.
- More icon : Represents additional options.

- Copy as image: Copy the selected image which can be pasted into applications that support images.
- Paste: Place the copied image somewhere else on the whiteboard.
