Blocking unwanted phone numbers from the Zoom app

You can block incoming calls and texts (SMS) from a caller directly from your Zoom desktop, mobile app, and Zoom Web App. You can also create a block list from your account on the web by following these instructions.

Prerequisites for blocking unwanted phone numbers from the Zoom app

• Zoom client version 5.8.0 or above
• Zoom Web App
• Zoom phone license

How to block a phone number from the Zoom app

Desktop client or mobile app

1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop client or mobile app.
2. Click Phone.
3. Click the History, Voicemail, or SMS tab.
4. To the right of the number you want to block, click the more options icon ().
   Notes:
   • From your iOS device, after clicking on the SMS tab, click the information icon .
   • From your Android device, after clicking on the SMS tab, tap and hold the phone number.
5. Select Block Number, then click Spam Calls or Other Reasons.
   Note: From the mobile app, you might need to scroll down the list to see the item.

Zoom Web App

1. Sign in to the Zoom Web App.
2. Click Phone.
3. Click the SMS tab.
4. To the right of the number you want to block, click the more options icon ().
5. Select Block Number, then click Spam Calls or Other Reasons.
