Using service logs for Zoom Rooms
Service logs allow administrators to describe changes that have been made to a room so that others who are managing the same space can see what has been done. They also keep a record of who made what changes to the room.
Requirements for using service logs for Zoom Rooms
- Account owner, admin, or role with edit access to Zoom Rooms
How to use service logs for Zoom Rooms
Viewing service logs
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click Room Management, then click Zoom Rooms.
- Click the room or location you wish to view the service log for.
- Click Service Logs at the top of the page.
- (Optional) You can filter the list of service logs by using the following options:
- Search
- Date range
- Type (alerts or notes)
- Admin (user who created the note)
- Click Close when you are finished.
Adding service logs
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click Room Management, then click Zoom Rooms.
- Click the room or location you wish to add the service log for.
- Click Service Logs at the top of the page.
- Click + Add Notes.
- Enter a Title, Description (optional), and + Add Images (optional), then click Save.
Editing service logs
An administrator can only edit his/her own service logs.
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click Room Management, then click Zoom Rooms.
- Click the room or location you wish to add the service log for.
- Click Service Logs at the top of the page.
- Hover the cursor over the log you want to edit, then click the pen
icon. - Make any desired changed, then click Save.
Deleting service logs
An administrator can only delete his/her own service logs.
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click Room Management, then click Zoom Rooms.
- Click the room or location you wish to add the service log for.
- Click Service Logs at the top of the page.
- Hover the cursor over the log you want to delete, then click the trash
icon. - Click Delete to confirm.
