What is Zoom Node

Zoom Node is a unified hybrid platform designed to consolidate present and future Zoom on-prem and hybrid solutions. While Zoom Node is deployed and installed within an organization’s premises, module/service deployment and management are controlled from the Zoom Cloud, effectively extending Zoom Cloud functionalities to customer data centers. What is Zoom Node

Zoom Node is a secure unified platform for cloud hybrid services allowing for rapid deployment and hosting of Zoom workloads (Modules) with the following features:

What are Zoom Node modules

Service modules are service-specific software that runs on the Zoom Node platform, allowing hybrid services like the Zoom Phone Survivability module to function. Each Zoom Node endpoint is capable of supporting up to four service modules.

Zoom administrators assign services to nodes through the Zoom Node dashboard on the web portal. After selecting the service for a node, the Zoom Node Platform pushes the chosen service module configuration from Zoom’s cloud to the device and installs it automatically. Once installation is complete, the Node endpoint is ready for use with its designated hybrid service.

The following modules/services are available with Zoom Node:

What makes Zoom Node different from Zoom on-prem services

Currently, Zoom’s on-prem services (Meeting Connector, Virtual Room Connector, and Recording Connector) have unique installation, management, and analytic interfaces that have to be managed at the virtual machine level (via web console). Additionally, each service requires or has
