Customizing the Set Variables widget

The Set Variables widget allows you to set a global or custom variable by manually entering a value or passing variable from another widget.

Requirements for customizing the Set Variables widget

• Account owner or admin privileges; or relevant role/privilege
• Pro, Business, or Education account
• Zoom Contact Center license
• Voice, video, web chat, in-app chat, or SMS flow created
• Flow is in draft state

How to add and edit the Set Variables widget

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. In the navigation menu, click Contact Center Management then Flows.
3. Click a flow's display name to edit it.
4. In the left-side widgets panel, click and drag Set Variables onto the preferred location in the flow.
5. Select the Set Variables widget.
6. (Optional) Click Rename to change the display name of the widget.
7. In the Settings tab, select a custom or global variable in the Variable drop-down menu.
8. In the Assign Value section, select one of these options:
   • Enter a value: Enter a value to set the variable to.
   • Use value from another variable: Pass a value from another widget's variable; or another custom or global variable.
9. (Optional) Click the plus icon to set additional variables. Repeat steps 7 and 8.
10. Click the Exits tab to customize exit settings.
    • Next Step: Select the destination widget after the variable is set.
