As the host of a meeting session, you can manually control if and when you want to start livestreaming your meeting session or webinar session to the event lobby. This is useful if you enter your session before the start time to practice and prepare but do not want to livestream your preparation to the event lobby.
Note: When closed caption translation is enabled, the language displayed in the lobby livestreaming window matches users’ language preferences. Zoom Events supports localization for global users.
Note: For access to the latest Zoom Events and Webinar features, we strongly recommend hosts to update to the latest version of the Zoom desktop client/mobile application.
In order to control when you want to start and stop livestreaming to the lobby as a session host, you must be on Zoom client version 5.10.0 or later. If you are on a version older than 5.10.0, livestreaming of the session will automatically start once you join the session, and will stop only when the session ends.
Note: If you are running a Zoom client older than 5.10.0 as a host, alternative host, or speaker, you will be prompted to upgrade to the latest version so that you can gain full control of when you want to start and stop livestreaming to the lobby.
