Joining via pairing with a SIP/H.323 device


The pairing feature allows you to join a SIP/H.323 device into a Zoom meeting without entering the Meeting ID from the device.

How to pair from the Zoom desktop client

  1. Dial the IP address (found in the meeting invitation or on your Cloud Room Connector page) from the H.323 or SIP device to reach the splash screen.
  2. Join or start a meeting from PC or Mac client.
  3. Press the Invite button in the host controls.
  4. Select the Invite a Room System tab.
  5. Enter the pairing code shown at the splash screen on the SIP/H.323 device.
  6. Click Invite.
 

How to pair from the Zoom web portal (without starting the meeting)

  1. Dial the IP address (found in the meeting invitation or on your Cloud Room Connector page) from the H.323 or SIP device to reach the splash screen.
  2. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  3. Click Meetings.
  4. Next to + Schedule a Meeting, click More more-button.
  5. Click Join a meeting from an H.323/SIP room system.
  6. Enter the meeting ID and pairing code.
  7. Click Connect.

How to pair a codec to a meeting as an administrator

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an Admin.
  2. Click User Management, then click Users.
  3. Search, and click on the email address of the user who owns the meeting.
  4. Click Meetings, then Upcoming Meetings
  5. Click Pairing next to the meeting, the codec is trying to join.
  6. Entering the pairing code displayed on the screen of the codec.
  7. Click Connect
