Zoom Activity Center


Notifications for cloud recordings and transcripts, missed phone and video calls, received voicemails, SMS messages, and whiteboards are all consolidated into the Activity Center. Users can view their notifications, mark them as unread, filter the displayed notifications, and control which activities provide a notification.

Prerequisites for using the Activity Center

How to access the Activity Center

  1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
  2. In the top right corner, click the notification bell icon .
    Your recent unread notifications will be listed. Notifications will include newly available cloud recordings and transcripts, missed phone and video calls, received voicemails and SMS messages, and whiteboard.
  3. Click on an unread notification to open that item. Actions will vary by the notification type.
    For example, clicking on a notification for an available cloud recording will open that cloud recording page in the web portal.
  4. (Optional) Hover your cursor over a notification and click the ellipsis icon , then click Mark as Read.
    Note: Clicking ellipsis icon  in the top right corner of the activity center provides the option to Mark All as Read.
  5. Click the filter icon  to narrow the notifications down to specific categories of notifications.

Adjusting which notifications are shown in the activity center

  1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
  2. In the top right corner, click the notification bell icon .
  3. In the top right corner of the activity center window, click the ellipsis icon  and select Settings.
  4. Select from the following notifications that can be enabled or disabled:
    • Meetings
      • Meeting recording ready
      • Meeting transcript ready
      • Missed Video Calls
    • Phone
      • Missed Phone calls
      • Voicemails received
      • SMS received
    • Whiteboard
      • Added to a Whiteboard
      • Mention @Me
  5. (Optional) Click Reset to restore notifications defaults.
  6. Click Save to confirm the changes.
