Using SMS message and conversation options

Zoom Phone SMS allows you to send and receive text messages (SMS) using the Zoom desktop client, mobile app, or Zoom Web App. You can also use SMS with a call queue or auto receptionist.

This article goes over the various message and conversation options like saving a message or deleting a conversation.

How to use SMS message options

  1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop app, mobile app, or Zoom Web App.
  2. Click or tap the Phone tab.
  3. Click or tap the SMS tab.
  4. Click or tap an SMS conversation.
  5. Follow one of the below sections:
Windows | macOS | Linux

Hover over an SMS message and click the ellipsis for these options.

Android | iOS

On the mobile app, tap and hold an SMS message to access these options.

Zoom Web App

Hover over an SMS message and click the ellipsis for these options.

How to use SMS conversation options

Note: If the caller hid their caller ID, you can only delete the conversation.

Windows | macOS | Linux

Hover over an SMS conversation below the SMS tab and click the ellipsis  for these options.

Click the info icon in top-right corner to access these options:

Android | iOS

Tap and hold an SMS conversation below the SMS tab to access these options.

Tap an SMS conversation then click the info icon in the top-right corner to access these options:

Zoom Web App

Hover over an SMS conversation below the SMS tab and click the ellipsis  for these options.
