The following table provides the list of features available on certified desk phones. This article does not apply to certified gateways and analog telephone adapters.
Zoom Phone supports secure voice calls for connections between the Zoom Cloud and the Zoom desktop client, mobile app, web browser/client, and supported SIP devices. During call setup, Zoom Phone uses SIP over TLS 1.2 with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit algorithm for these connections. The Zoom desktop client, mobile app, and web browser/client connections encrypt call media to the Zoom Cloud using SRTP with AES 256-bit encryption algorithm. SIP devices configured with SRTP use AES-128 or AES-256 bit algorithm to encrypt call media for connections to the Zoom Cloud, otherwise unencrypted RTP is used as a fallback.
Important: By default, AES-128-bit encryption is enabled for call media transmitted by supported SIP devices. Admins can upgrade SIP devices to AES-256 bit encryption using the web portal. Fax lines may not support full encryption.
This article covers:
Note: If you have provisioned desk phone set up as a common area phone, some desk phone features will be limited.
Failover support allows Zoom Phone devices to register automatically to an alternate Zoom Phone data center when the primary data center becomes unavailable through planned or unplanned downtime. During the failover process, the devices may experience a brief service interruption and missed call notifications. Devices will initiate a failback process and return to the primary data center once the service is resumed.
The following devices support the failover process as described above. However, each device must be on the Supported Firmware listed per this page:
405HD, 445HD, 450HD, C450HD, RX50, MP1288, MediaPack MP504/508 (formally M500Li) (7.26A.356.075 or higher), MP112, MP114, MP118, MP124

The firmware requirements of AudioCodes 445HD, 450HD, C450HD to support admin password:
The Admin Password setting located in the account-level desk phone settings doesn't apply to these models:
Aim call park (park using line key) is supported on these models:
Audio intercom is supported on these models:
Algo: Assisted provisioning is available for Algo paging devices. As of the time of this release, certain devices such as model 8180 do not pass the assisted provisioning, therefore the model 8180 device may need to be manually provisioned as Other/Generic device while we are working on resolving the issue.
Avaya: Assisted provisioning is available for Avaya supported devices using the enrollment code. Avaya ZTP (Device Enrollment Services) server must be reachable from your network.
CyberData: Assisted provisioning is available for CyberData paging devices. However some older product lines are missing the necessary SSL device certificate support required for assisted provisioning (also known as auto-URL provisioning), therefore the older product lines may still need to be manually provisioned as Other/Generic devices. Please reach out to CyberData support for details. You can identify if a CyberData device supports assisted provisioning.
The following phone models support background image.
Cloud paging is supported on the following devices:
Call control from Zoom desktop client is supported on these models:
The following phone models support call delegation and shared line groups. Models not on this list might support some features like making and receiving calls using a shared line, but won’t show the status of shared lines.
You can submit a request to Zoom Support to enable this feature for your account.
Call forwarding sync with the Zoom app is supported on these models:
Note: For users with multiple DIDs, enabling the Call forward settings sync with client feature, ensures incoming calls are forwarded. However, for non-primary lines, the forward indicator or destination number won't synchronize on the IP phone. This limitation will be addressed in an enhancement scheduled for early Q2 deployment.
Call flip is supported on these models:
All other certified Poly and Yealink models support call flip.
Call park is supported on these models:
Call monitoring is supported on these models:

Notes:
Conference call for up to 10 participants with the associated firmware versions is supported on these models:
A custom firmware that includes the vendor, model, and firmware version that can be applied in the firmware management of those devices.
Yealink phone models require a custom firmware that is built specifically for Zoom Phone, while certified IP phones from other manufacturers use the firmware that comes from those vendors and isn't specific to Zoom Phone.
The DND status only applies to the phone you set it on.
Note: A physical or manual reboot of your desk phones is required after enabling the DND feature for the first time.
The DND status functions differently depending on the manufacturer:
Setting DND on the following certified IP Phones will sync the presence state to your desktop and/or mobile client:
