Zoom Rooms for Touch in-meeting controls
After you start a meeting from Zoom Rooms for Touch, you can manage the meeting using the integrated controller. The integrated controller has the same features as a regular controller.
Prerequisites for Zoom Rooms for Touch
- Zoom Rooms for Windows Global minimum version or higher
- Windows 10 or higher with a touch screen
- Touch drivers installed on the computer
or
- Zoom for Home compatible device
Zoom Rooms for Touch In-meeting controls
While in a meeting you can tap the following:
- Mute / Unmute : Mute or unmute the room's microphone.
- Start Video / Stop Video : Start or stop the room's video camera.
- Share Screen : Display instructions to share content from your desktop, mobile device or Camera.
- Advanced Sharing Options: Select who can share in your meeting and if you want only the host or any participant to be able to start a new share when someone is sharing.
- Annotate on Shared Content: Allow other participants to annotate on the shared screen initiated from the Zoom Room.
Note: This option is only available when a participant shares their screen using direct sharing, share.zoom.us, or Apple screen mirroring. Make sure the admin has enabled annotation in the room's web portal settings. - Optimize Full-screen Video Sharing: Check this if you will be sharing a video clip in full screen mode. Do not check this otherwise, as it may cause the shared screen to be blurry.
- View: Select Thumbnail, Speaker or Gallery.
- Whiteboard : Share your whiteboard.
- More ... : Select more settings.
- Raise Hand : If you're joining the meeting as a participant, tap Raise Hand in the bottom-right section to indicate that you need something from the host.
- Security : (only available if the room is the host or co-host): Enable or disable certain in-meeting features. Some of these settings can also be found in the participants list.
- Lock Meeting: Don't allow other participants to join the meeting in progress.
- Enable Waiting Room: Enable or disable Waiting Room for the current meeting.
- Hide Profile Picture: Enable or disable Profile picture.
- Allow Participants to: Enable or disable the following features for all participants.
- Virtual Background : Change the Virtual Background.
- Manage Participants / Participants : View the meeting participants. If you are the host you will see the controls to manage participants.
- Start Recording / Stop Recording : Start recording or stop recording. The recording will be available in your Zoom portal account.
- Chat : Access the chat window to chat with participants.
- Request Remote Control: Take control of another participant's screen after permission has been granted. The room can request remote control of the participant's screen, or the participant can give control to the room. Once permission is granted, the room can control the mouse and keyboard.
- Settings : Access room settings.
- Volume slider : Adjust the volume of the room's speaker (this will revert back to the room default after the meeting has ended).
- End/Leave: Select Leave Meeting or End Meeting for All.
