Changing to a monthly or annual billing cycle
Most Zoom plans are billed monthly or annually. In the billing portal, you can make several changes to your subscriptions and billing options, including switching to either a monthly or annual subscription cycle or upgrading your account.
Notes:
- If you purchased your plan online, you can change your subscription cycle on your own in the billing portal.
- If you purchased your plan through a direct sales quote, you may be able to change your subscription cycle on your own in the billing portal, or you can email your dedicated Account Executive or contact Zoom Support for assistance with renewals and contract management.
Requirements for changing your payment frequency
- Account owner, admin, or a custom role with billing privileges
- No pending plan changes that may affect subscription cycle changes
Note: You can’t have an annual add-on with a monthly base plan.
How to change your Zoom billing subscription cycle to monthly or annual
You can change your subscription cycle to bill either monthly or annually in the Zoom web portal.
Note: If you don’t see the following steps in the Zoom web portal or the option is grayed out, you may not be able to change your subscription cycle on your own if you purchased a Zoom subscription through a direct sales quote. Contact your dedicated Account Executive.
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- In the navigation menu, click Plans and Billing then Plan Management.
- To the right of the plan you want to change, click Manage.
- Click Edit Plan.
- Change your subscription cycle to Monthly or Annual.
Note: If you’re unable to make a change, you may have pending plan changes that impact your subscription cycle. Contact Sales to make changes to your current or pending plans. - In the Payment Method section, update or confirm your payment details.
- Review your order.
- Click Place Order to complete your purchase.
The change will take effect at the end of the current term.
