Managing the Recording Connector module


With a deployed Recording Connector module, hosts can record their on-premise meetings directly to cloud storage managed within the organization's network. Once recorded, the recordings can be retrieved from the NFS storage location and organized for easy lookup by users.

How to manage Recordings

Recorded meetings are saved directly to the Server's storage by default, under the following path: /opt/zoom/recordings/.  From there, the recordings are saved in one of the following folders:

When completed recordings are saved, they are saved in the following location: /opt/zoom/recordings/replay/year/month/date/confID.

For example, the recording path /opt/zoom/recordings/replay/2018/06/08/E8429740-9EF7-4AE0-8B98-3A32F276A03C, would translate to:

How to manage Recording Connector module storage

Changing the NFS storage

To change the NFS storage utilized for the Recording Connector module:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Node Management then click Modules.
  3. Click the drop-down button , and click Meeting Connector.
  4. Click the Nodes tab.
  5. Click the Name of the Node server that the Recording Connector module was deployed to.
  6. Next to External Storage, click the Edit icon.
  7. Enter the new NFS Server IP and the NFS Path.
  8. Restart the Node services.

Deleting the NFS storage

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Node Management then click Modules.
  3. Click the drop-down button , and click Meeting Connector.
  4. Click the Nodes tab.
  5. Click the Name of the Node server that the Recording Connector module was deployed to.
  6. Next to External Storage, click the delete  icon.
