Accessing Zoom Events licensing reports

Zoom Events reports allow account owners and admins to generate different metrics and information about their users' Zoom Events Unlimited licenses and Zoom Events Pay Per Attendee licenses. Account owners and admin can view the usage reports associated with their account for Zoom Events, including the events their users are hosting and the events’ attendance. Account owners and admins can also differentiate between Zoom Events Unlimited and Zoom Sessions Unlimited, and Zoom Events Pay Per Attendee and Zoom Sessions Pay Per Attendee events.

You can view the actual licensing usage report and also export it as a CSV file. Zoom Events licensing reports allow you to view the hub name, event type, charge type, event details, and host email. You can search for up to one month at a time.

How to access Zoom Events licensing reports for your account

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Reports.
  3. Click the Usage Reports tab.
  4. Click Zoom Events.

You can also click the User Activity Reports tab to view additional types of reports (only accessible to the account owner by default).

How to filter Zoom Events and Zoom Sessions licensing reports

  1. Access Zoom Events usage reports.
  2. Select the date range.
  3. Click the All Events dropdown and select the licensing type that you want to filter by:
  4. Click the All Event type dropdown and select the Zoom Event type you want to filter by:
  5. Click Search.

View Zoom Events Pay Per Attendee/Zoom Sessions Pay Per Attendee licensing metrics

Compared to the Zoom Events model, the Zoom Events Pay Per Attendee and Zoom Sessions Pay Per Attendee model adds billing details. At the top of the page, a banner will display each Zoom Events Pay Per Attendee/Zoom Sessions Pay Per Attendee plan and the total number of attendees. You can view the usage details by clicking View Details in the banner.

When you view the billing details, you can view the date, number of attendees at completed events, and capacity used. Account owners and admins can also find the additional columns, Charge Type, Metering Start, and Metering End to reflect the metering changes based on the transfer of the assets

Receive Zoom Events Pay Per Attendee and Zoom Sessions Pay Per Attendee billing notifications

Account owners and admins will receive an email notification when the Zoom Events Pay Per Attendee/Zoom Sessions Pay Per Attendee model has been used past a certain threshold (i.e., when 80% capacity of your Zoom Events Pay Per Attendee/Zoom Sessions Pay Per Attendee model has been used). You can allow some people to have access to the Billing section through Role Management, and those users will receive billing-related account notifications.

Note: Anyone who has access to the Billing tab on the web portal will receive this notification.

How to export Zoom Events and Zoom Sessions licensing reports

These reports are downloadable in a CSV file based on the selected date range.

  1. Access Zoom Events usage reports.
  2. In the top-right corner, click Export.
    The CSV file will download to your computer.
