Creating folders for Zoom Team Chat

Folders gives Zoom Team Chat users the ability to organize their chats and channels into meaningful groups on the sidebar, allowing them to spend less time scrolling and more time chatting!

You can create up to 200 folders and have up to 50 items in each folder, including channels, group chats, and 1-on-1 chats. The order of folders and their contents can be adjusted by clicking-and-dragging.

Folders are personal and just for you. No other users will see your folder names or be impacted by how you group and organize your chats or channels. Your folders and organization are also synced with your account, so the organization follows you from device to device.
