Configuring LTI Pro 1.1 for Canvas

This article provides specific instructions for configuring Zoom’s LTI Pro with Canvas.

Note: Please ensure that LTI Pro has been installed and you are signed in to configure LTI Pro.

Configuring LTI Pro on Canvas

  1. Go to the LTI Pro application and Sign In and then click Manage and then Configure.
    1. Click + Create to create new credentials.
    2. Choose LTI 1.1 and enter the name of LTI.
      After creating a new LTI credential, you will see an LTI 1.1 credential and configuration page which will have the LTI URL, LTI Key and LTI Secret which will be needed for configuring the LTI in the LMS.
  2. Navigate to your Canvas Account, click Admin, and then the name of the account where you would like to add Zoom.
  3. Click Settings from the menu on the left panel.
  4. Click Apps.
  5. Click View App Configurations.
  6. Click + App.
  7. Complete the Add App page as follows:
  8. Click Submit.

Installing Zoom LTI Pro in Course Navigation

  1. Login to Canvas as the course instructor or administrator and navigate to the course where you would like to add Zoom.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Navigation.
  4. Drag Zoom from the hidden items to the place where you would like it to appear in the Navigation.
  5. Click Save.
