Enabling or disabling participants video
Participants video allows the meeting participant to start a meeting with video turned on. If the participant video is disabled, the meeting will start with the video turned off. Participants can change this setting during the meeting.
Note: SIP/H.323 devices joining a Zoom meeting using Zoom Conference Room Connector (CRC) do not follow this setting, and always join with video turned on.

Account
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- From the navigation panel, select Account Management then Account Settings.
- Click the Meeting tab.
- In the Schedule Meeting section, to enable Participants video, click the toggle. In the Enable "Participant video" popup window, click Enable.
- (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all members of the entire account, click the lock icon and in the Lock "Participants video" pop-up window, click Lock.
Group
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- From the navigation panel, select User Management then Group Management.
- Select the desired group.
- Click the Meeting tab.
- In the Schedule Meeting section, to enable Participants video, click the toggle. In the Enable "Participants video" popup window, click Enable.
- (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all members of the group, click the lock icon and in the Lock "Participants video" pop-up window, click Lock.
User
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- From the navigation panel, select Settings.
- Click the Meeting tab.
- In the Schedule Meeting section, to enable Participants video, click the toggle.
Note: If Participant video is disabled and locked, contact your account administrator.
