Managing custom video filters


Add fun elements to your video meetings by uploading custom video filters to display your company's pride or branding. With the custom filters feature, account owners and admins can upload custom frame or foreground stickers for users on their account to use.

Users can select these filters in the Zoom desktop client or Zoom mobile app.

How to add a custom filter

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Advanced), locate the Video filters setting, then click Add Custom Filters.
  5. In the Add Custom Filter dialog, do one of the following:
    • Drag and drop an image into the space.
    • Click Choose Files, locate the file, then click Open.
  6. In the Edit custom filter dialog, customize how the filter will appear for users on the Zoom desktop client.
    • Move the image by clicking and dragging it to the desired position.
    • Resize an image by selecting and dragging the corners.
    • Remove an image by clicking ✖ in the top-right corner of the image.
    • Click the image icon in the lower-right corner to add up to two additional images to the filter.
  7. Click Next to customize how the filter will appear for users on the Zoom mobile app.
  8. Click Next
  9. Enter a name for the filter.
  10. Choose a thumbnail image which will appear in your user's selection of video filters.
  11. Click Save.

How to edit a custom filter

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Advanced), locate the Video filters setting and select the filter that you want to edit.
  5. In the bottom-right corner, click Edit.
    The Edit custom filter dialog will open.
  6. Edit the filter as needed for users on the Zoom desktop client and for users on the Zoom mobile app.
  7. Click Save.

How to delete a custom filter

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Advanced), locate the Video filters setting and select the filter that you want to delete.
  5. In the bottom-left corner, click Delete This Filter.
  6. In the verification dialog, click Delete to confirm that you want to delete the filter.
    The filter will be removed from users' devices.

How to view custom filter properties

You can search through all of your custom filters and view filter properties such as Date Added and Size.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In Meeting (Advanced), locate the Video filters setting and click the link to manage your custom filters.
  5. In the top-right corner, click the list view icon to display properties.
