If you have an Android device with a fingerprint sensor, you can enable fingerprint authentication, allowing you to quickly sign in to Zoom using your fingerprint.

How to add your fingerprint in Android
Before you can use fingerprint authentication in the Zoom mobile app, you have to add your fingerprint in your Android settings. If you have already added your fingerprint, skip to the next section.
Note: These steps apply to stock Android 9.0. These steps may be different depending on your device's manufacturer. If these step do not work for you, visit your manufacturer's support site for instructions to enable fingerprint authentication.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Tap Security & location.
- In the Device Security section, tap Fingerprint.
- Tap Set Up and follow the on-screen instructions to add a fingerprint. You may want to add more than one fingerprint for more convenience.
How to enable fingerprint authentication in Zoom
While signed-in
- Tap Settings
. - Tap your name to view your profile settings
- Tap the Use Fingerprint ID toggle to enable it.
You can now use your fingerprint to sign in.
During sign-in
- Sign in to the Zoom app.
You will see a pop-up message asking you to sign in with Fingerprint ID.
- Tap OK to enable fingerprint authentication.
You can now use your fingerprint to sign in.
Using your fingerprint to sign in to Zoom
- The next time you sign in to the Zoom app on Android, you will see the following message prompting you to sign in using your fingerprint.
- Place your finger on your device's fingerprint sensor.
Note: If your device fails to recognize your fingerprint after three tries, you need to sign in to Zoom using your username and password.
