Using the SIP/H.323 in-meeting menu
When you join a Zoom meeting from your H.323 or SIP device via the Cloud Room Connector, you can access the Zoom menu by DTMF tones to control your video layout, start/stop your video, mute/unmute, and more.

Accessing the main menu
To access the main menu while in a Zoom meeting, Press 1 via DTMF tones to access the menu. On some devices, you will need to toggle your remote to send DTMF tones.
- Polycom: Press # to activate the keypad for DTMF tones
- Tandberg: Press # to activate "Touch Tones"
- Lifesize: Press to toggle between presets and DTMF mode
- Sony: Press * to activate DTMF mode, Enter to exit (microphone will not be active in DTMF mode).
- Aver: Press Far/Near button on remote control to toggle between camera presets and DTMF mode
Main menu options
Once the main menu opens, using your remote:
- Press 1 to change the video layout. Learn more about changing the video layout.
Note: If dual-screen views have been enabled, this will change the video layout to either Gallery view and Active speaker view, or Gallery view across both displays. - Press 2 to unmute your microphone.
- Press 3 to raise/lower hand.
- Press 4 to start or stop your camera feed.
- Press 5 to start or stop recording.
Note: you will need to be the meeting host to record. Learn more about joining as the meeting host. - Press 6 to show the participants list.
- Press 7 to view the Meeting Host Options
Note: If the Host Key was not entered before joining the meeting, you will be prompted to enter the Host Key before accessing this menu. - Press 8 to enable Language Interpretation to listen to interpretation audio channels and view interpreted text.
- Press the number of the desired language channel.
- Press 0 to mute the orginal audio channel.
- Press # to submit the changes.
- Press 9 to access the meeting information including the Meeting ID, the meeting passcode, encryption status, as well as the current data center the device is connected to.
- Press 0 to view additional options.
- Press * to close the menu.
How to use the SIP/H.323 additional options menu
While in the Main Menu, you can press 0 to access an additional options menu. Once in the additional options menu, using your remote:
- Press 1 to change the layout of dual screen mode between Gallery view + Active Speaker view on the two displays (respectively) and Gallery view on both displays. Note: this menu option will have no effect if dual screen mode is not already enabled. Dual screen mode is enabled by including the necessary commands in the dial string when connecting to the meeting.
Note: This option also needs to be enabled if you are utilizing dual-screen video feeds. - Press 2 to show or hide names on the participants' video feeds.
- Press 3 to mute participants upon entry.
Note: you will need to be the meeting host to mute participants upon entry. Learn more about joining as the meeting host. - When you're in Gallery View, if not all participants appear on one screen, press 4 to go to the previous screen of participants.
- Press 5 to show or hide non-video participants.
- When you're in Gallery View, if not all participants appear on one screen, press 6 to go to the next screen.
- Press 7 to show or hide the chat messages from appearing on the display.
Note: If the in-meeting chat visibility default has been pre-configured, using this option will override the pre-configured state for the duration of the meeting. - Press 8 to show or hide closed captioning.
- Press 9 to show or hide the active speaker window when viewing screen share content.
- Press 0 for additional options:
- Press 1 to mute your audio.
- Press 2 to mute or unmute your audio.
- Press 3 to show or hide Enhanced Closed Captions.
- Press 4 to view Caption Settings.
- Press 1 to change the selected Speaking Language.
- Press 2 to change the selected Translation Language.
- Press 3 to show or hide the original and translated captions.
- Press * to close the menu
- Press * to close the menu.
How to use the SIP/H.323 host options
While in the Main Menu, you can press 7 to access options available to the Host. You will need to join the meeting using the host key to utilize the options. If the Host Key was not entered when joining the meeting, you will be prompted to enter the Host Key when accessing the host menu.
The Host options include:
- Press 1 to lock or unlock the meeting.
- Press 2 to start or stop recording.
- Press 3 to view the participants currently in the meeting. The following options are available in the participant menu:
- Press 1 to view participants in the Waiting Room.
- Press the designated number of the participant to admit them to the meeting.
- Press 4 to view the previous page of participants.
- Press 6 to view the next page of participants.
- Press 0 to admit all participants from the Waiting Room.
- Press * to close the menu
- Press * to close the menu
- Press 4 to mute participants upon entry.
- Press 5 to end the meeting.
- Press 6 to mute all participants.
- Press 7 to unmute all participants.
- Press 8 to enable or disable Waiting Room.
- Press 9 to enable or disable the Join and Leave notification sounds.
- Press 0 for additional options:
- Press 1 to allow asking in-meeting questions with AI Companion during the meeting:
- Press 1 to allow all participants.
- Press 2 to allow only participants who have already joined the meeting.
- Press 3 to only allow the host and co-host.
- Press 0 to start the feature.
- Press 2 to start or stop Meeting Summary.
- Press * to close the menu.
