Enabling stereo audio

Enabling stereo audio allows you to send audio in stereo during your meetings and webinars if your microphone can process audio in stereo. After you enable this setting, Zoom will encode mic audio in stereo. This setting can be useful for sharing live music performances. A stereo-capable microphone or audio interface is required.

Note: Stereo audio is only supported in meetings and webinars using the Zoom desktop client. Stereo audio is not supported when joining a meeting or webinar through the mobile app. Additionally, any recordings of the meeting or webinar, regardless of which app version used, will not support stereo audio, and will be saved as mono audio.
