The H.323/SIP Room Connector add-on allows you to dial out to an H.323 or SIP room system from the Zoom Client using the public IP address or SIP URI assigned to the device.
Note: When dialing or calling a SIP/H.323 room system during a meeting, make sure that the Zoom app has network connectivity to the Zoom CRC server over TLS using port 443.
By default when calling out to a SIP/H.323 room system, the US data center will be utilized. To specify the regional data center, and ensure the best call quality, the IP address or SIP domain for the desired regional data center can be appended to the dial string as seen in the below examples.
[Target device IP address];rc=x.x.x.x
[Target device IP address];rc=[SIP domain]
For example:
Device IP address: 144.195.19.161
SIP Domain: zmau.us
The dialing string would be 144.195.19.161;rc=zmau.us
Note: if an administrator has disabled particular data center regions for meetings or webinars, the disabled regional data centers cannot be used when calling out.
The default call-out speed is 1920kbps (maximum). To set the call speed when using the Zoom call-out feature, you can enter the speed into the dial string as seen in the below examples.
[Target device IP address];speed=768k
[Target device IP address];speed=768000
[Target device IP address]##[E.164 address];speed=1472k
To send DTMF tones when connecting to a Gatekeeper, MCU, or other H.323/SIP hardware that requires a party number, conference number, or e.164 address, you can enter these in the Call-out dial string.
[Target device IP address];dtmf=[DTMF tones]
For example:
Device IP address: 144.195.19.161
Conference Number: 15562
Password: 622
Dial: 144.195.19.161;dtmf=15562#,,622#
To add a call speed along with DTMF tones (using the example above):
Desired Call-Speed: 768 kbps
Dial: 144.195.19.161;dtmf=15562#,,622#;speed=768k
