Modifying settings for Zoom Node


Under the Settings tab within Zoom Node, Admins set the logging behavior, update behavior, and advanced monitoring for their Zoom Node instance.

How to access Zoom Node settings

To access your Node instance's settings:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Node Management, then click Settings.

Zoom Node Log settings

Under the Log section, admins can enable or disable, as well as set the logging behavior for their Zoom Node service, including:

Zoom Node Auto-update settings

Under the Auto update section of the Settings tab, admins can enable Auto-update Zoom Node and its services setting for their Zoom Node servers, modules, and other components. If enabled, admins can set the Installation days (the days of the week updates can be deployed), and the Installation time period (the time of day updates can be deployed).

Note: The installation time is based on the time zone set on the server itself.

Additionally, Update notifications can be enabled and configured to notify designated users on the account of new updates for their Node instance.

Zoom Node Vanity domain settings

Enable Mask vanity name from the domain if you want vanity hidden in the domain URL. 

Zoom Node Monitoring settings

Under Monitoring, admins can enable and configure Simple network management protocol (SNMP) for additional network-level monitoring of Zoom Node servers and services.
