Enabling Blur snapshot on iOS app switcher


If you don't want any of your Zoom information to be exposed while switching between multiple apps open on your iOS device, you can enable Blur snapshot on iOS app switcher. This setting blurs the Zoom app preview screen in the iOS task switcher when multiple apps are open.

Note: The Zoom blur app preview image will only be visible if you have several apps open.

Account

To enable blurred snapshot on iOS app switcher for all users in the account:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Under Admin Options, click the Hide potentially sensitive information on mobile task switcher toggle to enable it.
  5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Group

To enable blurred snapshot on iOS app switcher for a group of users:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click User Management then Groups.
  3. Click the applicable group name from the list.
  4. Click the General tab.
  5. Under Other, click the Hide potentially sensitive information on mobile task switcher toggle to enable it.
  6. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable to verify the change.
  7. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all members of this group, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

User

To enable blurred snapshot on iOS app switcher for your own use:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Settings.
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Under Other, click the Hide potentially sensitive information on mobile task switcher toggle to enable it.
  5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable to verify the change.
    Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the account or group level. You need to contact your Zoom admin.
