The Poly Trio is a device for the conference room that, when attached to a Zoom Room, can operate as a combination of a speakerphone and a controller. Once configured, the Poly Trio can start an instant meeting, join a Zoom meeting, call out via phone (if enabled), and start a screen share.

How to use the basic controls

On the controller, you can view today's scheduled meetings and tap Start at the time of the meeting. You can also:

• New Meeting: Start an instant meeting.
• Join: Join a meeting by entering the meeting ID.
• Share Content: Start a local screen share within the room.
• Home: Return to the home page. 
• Phone: Call out to a phone number, if enabled.
• Contacts: View the contacts on your account. 
• Settings: Tap the gear icon at the top right to access the settings.  

If upcoming meeting alerts are enabled, you will see an alert when a scheduled meeting begins in the next ten minutes. Tap Join to begin the meeting or Dismiss to return to the regular room controls. 

How to use the in-meeting controls

• Mute/Unmute Microphone: Mute or unmute the room's microphone.
• Start/Stop Video: Start or stop the room's video camera.
• Share Content: Display instructions to share content from your laptop or mobile device.
• View: Change your video display layout to one of these options. 
  • Speaker: Display the video of the active speaker.
  • Thumbnail: Display the video of the active speaker. All other attendees are displayed with thumbnails below the active speaker.
  • Gallery: Display all attendees in a grid layout.
• Camera Control: Change PTZ camera settings or presets.
• End: End the meeting. 
• More: Access additional controls.
  
  • Security (only available if the room is the host or co-host): Enable or disable certain in-meeting features.
  • Camera Control: Change PTZ camera settings or presets.
  • Participants: View the meeting participants. If you're the host, you will see controls to manage participants.
  • Invite: Invite by contact, email, phone, or room system.
  • Record: Start recording to the cloud.
  • Chat: Access in-meeting chat.
  • Reactions: Meeting reactions, nonverbal feedback, and Raise Hand allow you to communicate issues or feedback to the host or presenter without disrupting the meeting. These reactions are shown on your video panel and next to your name on the participants panel. 
  • Captions: If manual or automated captions is enabled on your account, click here to access the caption options.
  • Breakout Rooms: Start breakout rooms.
  • Settings (Gear icon at top right): Access room settings (requires room passcode).

How to join a meeting

To Join a Meeting by Meeting ID or Personal Link Name: 

1. Tap Join.
2. Enter the meeting ID.
3. Tap Join.

How to start a presentation

1. Tap Share Content.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions for sharing a computer screen, or tap iPhone/iPad to view the instructions for iOS devices.
3. You can also:
   • Stop Sharing: Tap Stop Sharing on the control to end the share.
   • Start Meeting: Tap Start meeting to start a Zoom meeting.

How to use phone call-out

1. Tap Phone.
2. Enter the phone number. 
3. Tap the phone icon.

How to access the room controller settings

You can access the room settings at any time by tapping the gear icon at the bottom right, when not in a meeting, or by tapping the gear icon at the top right when in a meeting.
