Publishing available Zoom Events in India
The Zoom Events platform notifies event organizers without business information about India regulation requirements and allows them to enter their business information so they can easily complete event setup.
The first time a host includes India as a country that is allowed to register for their event, the host must add information about their business after clicking Save to save the information in the Business Information tab.
Note: Only free events can be made available to India.

Note: For access to the latest Zoom Events and Webinar features, we strongly recommend hosts to update to the latest version of the Zoom desktop client/mobile application.
Limitations of publishing a Zoom Event in India
Publishing a Zoom Event in India has the following known limitations:
- Only free Zoom Events can be made available in India.
- Participants in India can only view the recordings of a Zoom Event if the Opt in to display above information to registrants box is checked in the Add Business Information form.
How to add business information to a corporate account
To add information about the business as the account owner or account admin during the event creation flow:
- Complete the Basic Information tab and click Save.
An Add Business Info pop-up window will appear. - In the Add Business Info pop-up window, click Add Business Info.
A form will appear. - Enter the required information in the Add Business Info form.
- (Optional) To allow attendees in India to view your event recordings, check the Opt in to display above information to registrants box.
- Click Save.
This Business Info form will be displayed to users in India on the event listing page. Hosts can click Block India & Continue to opt out of adding additional information about their business. This will geo-block India, and users in India will not be able to register for the event.
Note: When creating an event, hosts will receive a notice about how some countries are added to the geo-blocking list by default based on location requirements. If removed, additional business information may be needed.
How to add and edit business information to the hub account
Add business information to the hub account during event creation flow
To add information about the business as the hub owner:
- Complete the Basic Information tab and click Save.
An Add Business Info pop-up window will appear. - In the Add Business Info pop-up, click Add Business Information.
A form will appear. - Enter the required information in the Add Business Information form.
- (Optional) To allow attendees in India to view your event recordings, check the Opt in to display above information to registrants box.
- Click Save.
Hosts can click Block India & Continue to opt out of adding additional information about their business. This will geo-block India and users in India will not be able to register for the event.
Add business information to hub without any information
- Sign in to Zoom Events.
- In the left navigation menu, click the top dropdown arrow and select the hub you want to manage.
- Under the hub you want to manage, click Configuration, then click Business info.
- On the Business Information page, click Get Started, then click For hosting free events in India.
An Add Business Information form will appear. - Enter the required information in the Add Business Information form.
- (Optional) To allow attendees in India to view your event recordings, check the Opt in to display above information to registrants box.
- Click Save.
Add business information to hub with preexisting information
If your hub already has preexisting business information, you can still add more business information to your hub.
- Sign in to Zoom Events.
- In the left navigation menu, click the top dropdown arrow and select the hub you want to manage.
- Under the hub you want to manage, click Configuration, then click Business info.
- At the top of the Business Information page, click + Add More Business Information.
An Add Business Information form will appear. - Enter the required information in the Add Business Information form.
- (Optional) To allow attendees in India to view your event recordings, check the Opt in to display above information to registrants box.
- Click Save.
Edit existing business information on hub
If your hub already has preexisting business information, you can change that the information provided on your hub.

- Add your business information to the hub you want to manage.
- Return to the Business Information page.
- On the Business Information page, to the right of Basic Information, click Edit.
An Edit Business Information form will appear. - In the form, edit your business information.
- Click Save to save your changes.
