Prerequisites for setting the time zone

• Administrator within Canvas

Configuring Canvas to send Time Zone to LTI Pro

1. Log into Canvas as an Admin
2. Click Admin and select account.
3. Click Settings.
4. In the navigation at the top of the page, click Apps.
5. Click View App Configurations.
6. Scroll through the list of apps and click the gear icon to the right of the LTI Pro app
7. Click Edit.
8. In Custom Fields, add the following line: person_address_timezone=$Person.address.timezone.
9. Click Submit.
