Deleting your Zoom account

If you have a Basic (free) account, you can delete your Zoom account at any time. This will permanently delete your Zoom account.

If you have a paid account, you must cancel your subscription and wait until the current billing cycle has ended (once the cancellation takes effect) before you can terminate your account.

How to delete your Zoom account

To delete your Zoom account, you must have a free Basic account.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Admin.
  3. Click Account Management.
  4. Click Account Profile. 
  5. Click Terminate My Account.
  6. Enter your password to delete your account.
  7. Click Delete.
    Your account will be permanently deleted.
